Hamida Mirzad is an Afghan poet and writer who was born in Herat. He has the experience of living in Iran. He studied Persian literature from Iran and media science from Oslo, Norway. The first collection of his poems named (I want to die standing up) was published in the fall of 2013 from the address of Amiri Publishing House in Kabul. In 2016, it was selected as the book of the year of Kabul Golden Circle and in 2019, it was selected as a festival beyond Isfahan. In 2016, his first story was published as the dark half of a dream through Nebasht publishing house. This story was translated into English in 1400 with a new title (Decomposed Woman) and has been released to the book market through Posh Publishing in London. The poetry collection (Yahavi Zard) entered the Afghan book market in 2019 due to the efforts of "AN" publishing house. During these years, Hamidah has worked on two other books (in search of morning and poetry, bread, covid 19) which is a selection of poems by Persian poets.
