Vahid Abbasi was born in 1356 in Kabul, Afghanistan. He is originally from Herat. He immigrated to Iran when he was 12 years old. Living in migration was combined with learning art and cultural activities. He immigrated to the Netherlands in 2018 and is currently living in the Netherlands

Vahid Abbasi has received an honors degree in calligraphy from the Iran Calligraphers Association. He is active in the field of graphic design in addition to his interest in Nastaliq calligraphy. In this field, he has designed more than a hundred book and magazine covers as well as their page layout. Among them, we can mention cooperation with Dar Dari Cultural Institute and Irfan Publications
